What peel is best suited for my skin and the results I want to achieve?

Ultra Refresh Peel 15% Lactic

Low Intensity Peel pH 2.9 - 3.1

  • Sensitive Skin

  • Combination Skin

  • Dry / Aging / Dehydrated Skin

Regarding pH - Chemical peels depend greatly on pH.  Low pH peels will be stronger and more effective then peels with a higher pH, even if they have the same percentage of actives.

It is important to note that the efficacy of a peel in not dependent on how much peeling takes place or if the skin "sheet

" peels.  Clients should be aware that the amount and type of peeling is skin dependent and that it does not predict the ultimate success of the peel on a cellular level.

Ultra Restore Peel 10% Lactic + 10% Glycolic

Medium Intensity Peel pH 2.4 - 2.6

  • Dry / Aging / Dehydrated Skin

  • Pigmented / Sun Damaged Skin

  • Combination Skin

Blended acids such as Glycolic and Lactic are beneficial for treating challenges in most skins especially darker skin tones.  Acid blends provide an opportunity to use lower and safer % of each acid, while keeping the total acid content of the peel higher.

Ultra Renew Peel 25% Glycolic

High Intensity pH 1.8 - 2.1

  • Dry / Aging Skin

  • Pigmented / Sun Damaged Skin

  • Devitalised Skin

  • Body Application such as a Back Treatment

Medium Peels are to be applied every 1-2 months.  Also good for scarring - suitable for discolouration, uneven toned and hyper pigmented skin conditions, as it exfoliates from under the stratum corneum.

Glycolic Acid has the smallest molecule size of all AHA's allowing it to penetrate the skin.  While creating an injury to the skin, the repair mechanism of the skin is subsequently induced allowing skin healing for regeneration and remodeling of the replaced or abnormal cells.

Ultra Reveal Peel 40% Lactic

Medium - High Intensity pH 2 - 2.3

  • Dry / Agin / Dehydrated Kin

  • Pigmented / Sun Damaged Skin

  • Combination Skin

  • Body Treatments such as a foot treatment

As this peel has a high Lactic Acid content it's recommended that it's used towards the end of a series of facial peels if required, as the skin is adequately prepper to tolerate its intensity.  It can be used on the body without the same considerations.
